Home on a hill
You may encounter a nice looking lot at the bottom of a hill or on a steep incline in the street. When cars and trucks go uphill, they tend to make more noise as the engine is working harder. Depending on the steepness of the hill the increased noise can be considerable.

Flag lots
A flag lot is a type referred to by its general shape. Imagine a piece of land shaped like a flag on a flag pole. In this case the base of the “pole” is the land that has frontage and the main body of the lot, the “flag”, is further back from the road.
